He's shivering, free hand buried in the coat for warmth, a Pidgeotto perched on the arm that holds the Pokegear. There's snow in its ruffled feathers, and in its trainer's hair.

He's trying very hard not to look cold and miserable, but can't quite manage his usual volume. ]

Um! Crazy storm finally went away, so us Kindred Spirits are on the road again! Me and Doc are headed to Violet for badges, and look! Brown evolved!

[ The Pidgeotto fluffs itself up further, looking more like a puffball than a seasoned fighter, and gives the camera a grumpy bird stare. It is 11ºF man this is not okay. Shooter, of course, doesn't notice. ]

And he's really really cool and all, but… I kind of want Purple to stay like he is. I think he's gonna evolve soon, too, and what if he doesn't want to be a Raticate? Can I fix it?
